Handcrafted in the historic kilns of Bizen, Okayama. Known as one of Japan’s oldest ceramic traditions, Bizen-yaki (備前焼) is prized for its earthy textures and natural, unglazed finish.
Each bowl is individually wood-fired, resulting in unique variations of subtle reds, browns, and ash marks that tell a story of fire and earth.
Presented in a traditional wooden box (tomobako) with the maker's name, this set makes a thoughtful gift for tea enthusiasts or a meaningful addition to your own tea collection. The box not only protects the piece but also reflects the importance placed on craftsmanship and presentation in Japanese culture.
